10:07 AM ET 10.15 | Tony Eury Jr. says he will be the crew chief for Danica Patrick in the Nationwide Series at JR Motorsports but not in her limited Sprint Cup Series schedule at Stewart-Haas Racing. Eury said no decision has been made on Patrick's crew chief for eight to 10 Cup races, but didn't rule out that SHR might fill that role with somebody already in the company. One possibility could be vice president of competition Matt Borland, who was the crew chief for Ryan Newman when he won the Cup rookie of the year award in 2002.
Seems Tony is keeping quiet about a lot of things. I hope we'll all have our questions addressed soon enough.
