Danica Patrick
Danica Patrick will compete in her first full NASCAR Sprint Cup Series season in 2013, driving the No. 10 GoDaddy.com Chevrolet Impala for Stewart-Haas Racing, the team co-owned by her teammate, three-time and reigning Sprint Cup champion Tony Stewart and Gene Haas, founder of Haas Automation – the largest CNC machine tool builder in the western world. In 2012, she competed in 10 Sprint Cup races for Stewart-Haas, while also competing in a full NASCAR Nationwide Series schedule for JR Motorsports, owned by Dale Earnhardt Jr. She finished 10th in Nationwide Series points, the highest points for a women in NASCAR history. Patrick came to NASCAR after a successful seven-year career in the IZOD IndyCar Series where she became the first woman to win a major-league open-wheel race in a North American series by the IndyCar Series race in 2008 at the oval at Twin Ring Motegi in Japan.
